We are the only widely accessible provision for single homeless men and women in the Kingston borough. Unlike the many temporary winter night shelters we provide a year round shelter in our very own permanent building. We provide a holistic environment in which guests are supported through their journey out of homelessness; guests are provided with a tailor made bespoke care plan, which often includes one-to-one support from our experienced and highly qualified managers. Guests also have access to our staff via the on-call phone which is staffed 24 hours a day.

Guests share a 2-4 bed dorm and are provided with healthy wholesome home cooked meals, quality toiletries, daily access to laundry facilities and their own lockable wardrobe in which to keep their personal belongings. Our ethos is in ‘Helping People to Believe in Themselves’, we do this by encouraging guests to take part in the preparation of meals, cleaning of the shelter and tending the vegetable garden, as well as volunteering in the local community.

Around 400 people are threatened with homelessness in our borough every year. Single homeless people so easily fall through the net. We are here to provide a supportive community!

A huge thank you to all our generous supporters!
